\\ Etna and wine
Learn about the fascinating volcanic territory and the fruit of its land, skilfully cultivated by local farmers.
A walk at 2000 meters above sea level on the highest active volcano in Europe, a UNESCO world heritage site, surrounded by pristine nature.
Afterwards, we will visit a winery where we will taste excellent wines paired with a typical Etna lunch.
\\ On horseback, through the vineyards of Mount Etna
On horseback, through vineyards, dry walls and paths on Mount Etna, we will arrive at a winery where typical dishes and Etna DOC wines will refresh us.
During the ride, expert guides will tell us the history of the volcano and Etna wines.
\\ Traditional Sicilian Cuisine
A journey through the traditions of Sicilian cuisine. At a typical Etna butcher shop, the master butcher will prepare sausages the traditional way: chopping the pork by hand, with a cleaver.
Then we will visit a fine winery. There, besides tasting their wines, a skilful chef will show us how to prepare a menu of typical Sicilian dishes.
\\ By train: Tour and lunch at a winery
Discover the area of the highest active volcano in Europe, through the windows of the Littorina.
This historic little train climbs the slopes of Mount Etna, and reaches the doorstep of an excellent winery, where we will taste their wines and have a delicious typical Etna lunch.
\\ The history of wine in the Alcantara valley
This tour includes a visit to an archaic winepress, an ancient stone structure where grapes used to be pressed, testimony of wine culture from a distant past at the foot of Mount Etna.
The second stop will be at a winery to visit a Palmento(winepress) with a Plinianpress (79 AD). We will taste their excellent wines paired with a typical Etna lunch.
Our last stop will be in the medieval town of Randazzo, where we will also visit the Casa dellaMusica.
